Rhineland Palatinate Championships

TNA-Energie Half Marathon and TNA-Energie 5km

The 3rd TNA Energy 5km Run and the 8th TNA Energy Half Marathon will take place as part of the 2026 Rhineland-Palatinate Championships in the half marathon and 5 km (U18/U20 and Masters) and offer all interested parties who do not have a starting right in the Rheinhessen-Reinland and Palatinate Athletics Association the opportunity to participate outside of the rankings.

Flat, super-fast, best-time-friendly and varied routes through the grounds of the IRT Park.

Rhineland-Palatinate ranking (with medal):

• Individual half marathon ranking
  • Overall male ranking (across all classes = the first to cross the finish line is the champion)
  • Overall female ranking (across all classes = the first to cross the finish line is the champion)
• Team half marathon ranking
  • Overall male ranking (across all classes)
  • Overall female ranking (across all classes)
• Individual 5 km ranking
  • Overall male ranking (across all classes = the first to cross the finish line is the champion)
  • Overall female ranking (across all classes = the first to cross the finish line is the champion)
  • MJU18, WJU18, MJU20, WJU20
• Team 5 km ranking
  • Overall classification men (across all classes)
  • Overall classification women (across all classes)

Rhineland-Palatinate classification (without medal):

• Individual classification half marathon + 5 km
  • Masters (M/W 30 – M/W 90)
• Team classification half marathon + 5 km
  • M30/35, M40/45, M50/55, M60/65, M70–M90
  • W30/35, W40/45, W50–W90

 

If, for reasons of team classification, a registration is made in a younger Masters class, this also applies to the individual classification. Three runners from each club or running group
are classified as a team in the order in which they cross the finish line by adding their times together.

 

The overall winner of the half marathon/5 km competition receives the title "Rhineland-Palatinate Champion". If he/she belongs to a Masters class, he/she is also champion in the registered age group. This applies to both the individual and team rankings. Registration for this championship only needs to be submitted once. The Masters are then automatically assigned to the main class and the registered age group.

Film and photo shoots 📷

Photographs and/or film recordings (including sound) will be made of this event. This is done in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. f) DSGVO due to the legitimate interest of LG Meulenwald Föhren in reporting on the sporting event. Furthermore, this is done in accordance with the principles of § 23 KUG (no need for explicit consent) This includes both participants and spectators of the event.

We respect if you do not wish to be photographed or filmed. According to Art. 21 DSGVO, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data and thus also to the taking of photographs and films. In this case, please contact the photographer or cameraman directly.

Liability

The organiser is liable within the scope of his concluded insurance at the IRT runners' meeting of the LG Meulenwald Föhren e.V.

The event is insured by the LVR with the ARAG - Sportversicherung.

Other Information

The running route includes public roads and paths in the IRT park. Please note that these paths are not closed exclusively for the event. You may encounter other traffic. The route is separated from road traffic by cones, but is not completely closed to traffic.

You participate at your own risk. No claims for compensation can be made against the responsible authorities for damage caused by the condition of the paths used.

The road traffic regulations also apply during the event. Any viiolations may result in exclusion. The instructions of the race marshals and any  police officers present must be followed.

There are no special rights in road traffic. Please behave cautiously and considerately – this will help to ensure that the event runs safely and smoothly.
